I use mycasebuilder.com
Their web based design tool lets you design as precisely as you want, even uploading photos to trace the edges. You can view a 3D render of it before you order.
I ordered my 89 vault foam with their failsafe insurance and I'm invoking it to get it re-cut with the Batarang corrections.
Anyone ever, ever, ever seen a replica of the lesser known vault weapons? I'm talking about the Batmobile remote, the bomb timer, and some sort of other thing identified as a "Handset tracer" (I don't think even the Hot Toys figure comes with that one). I'd love to do a full, screen accurate vault door weapons cache.

Germanbat did a run of the capsules and stars years ago, and he may have some left but he is not producing them anymore.

SD 89 Speargun
I have an SD Studios 89 speargun that is in pieces. how should I attach the pieces together? Some are resin, the housing for the spear is brass.

I finally figured out what to do with this. I'm building a vault door (slightly smaller scale) to hold all these pieces. I'm still working on the foam insert, the final finish, and some fun details on the outside back.
The door is MDF with a resin coat.
Batarang (metal) - Ikon Design Studio
Spears (metal) - Hooks from Germanbat, shafts rebuilt by me
Gauntlet (metal) - Germanbat
Ninja Wheels (metal) - Germanbat
Speargun (metal) - ParagonFX
Time Bomb - Printed steel
Tracer - PLA print from Valor Replicas
Tranquilizer attachment - PLA print from Valor Replicas
Smoke Capsules (metal, glass, liquid) - Germanbat
Chest emblem (metal) - Can't remember where I got this. Either someone on here or the RPF. Never seen another like it.

Playing with the colors a bit, trying to find that right balance between steely silver and just very dark grey. Also experimenting with different sizes/types of hand wheels. Got the horizontal cross bars, still waiting on other pieces to be finished.
Foam insert for the weapons side should arrive tomorrow. That's really the 'hero' side. The lock & wheel side is just a fun detail.
