Thinner (4mmm) foam is better for helmets/cowls and thicker stuff (8mm) is better for leg armour. Personally I use 5mm for almost everythingnondisclosed_email@example.com (darkprotector)Wed, 08 Jun 2016 17:48:33 +0000 Which thickness works best?https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2342149,from=rss#post2342149https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2342149,from=rss#post2342149Hi guys, I'm going to try and make the foam Arkham Origins cowl from Jf on the rpf. I'm planing on folding it and them using filler to cover in/smooth seams and add brow details etc. I am wondering what thickness looks best but is still has some durability? i have tried this once with the super thin stuff offered at jo-anns/ hobby lobby but it didn't hold form very well and felt super flimsy. any advise would be fantastic. thanks in advance nondisclosed_email@example.com (fox2814)Wed, 08 Jun 2016 09:22:53 +0000
