3d Printing Armour

With 3d printers/printing becoming a bit more mainstream, is there any specific printer to get? Mainly for bits of armour?

At the moment i don't fully understand the workings of this type of printing. But open to new ideas.. emoticon

I went with the Zortrax m200. it's a Polish Company that makes them so importing was a bit expensive, but I've had nothing but good experiences with it. Cost around $3,000 Canadian
