My First Video In My New Cave
Few know this, but I lost my cave in hurricane Charlie when a tree hit the structure and it had to be taken down. I didn't tell anyone this until today but the truth is that even though I have stuck it through with this hobby it has been a real challenge. I have to do a lot with a little but fresh start now. Watch this first video that kind of sums up my past and puts me on a path for the new future ahead. Cool stuff Buddy. I especially love that you showed that photo from Dragon Con so many years ago when the whole BOTB crew (from the time) was together, including myself wearing my Batman T-shirt. I think that was 2003.

New beginnings.
It seems like for the past 10 years I've been starting over, and over, and over...but 2018 brought the biggest "beginning", and ending of all, my wife stepped out of our marriage and started a relationship with someone else.
I was lower than I've ever been, wanted to end it all...as Joker said in '89...over a WOMAN!
I have emerged on the other side, still hasn't been very long, stronger and more confident than I've been in a long time.
I need to get back to the things I love and am passionate about...and here I am.
Glad to see you've rebuilt and moved ahead Paul, can't wait to catch up.

You guys are always in my heart and I will always think warmly of you. I wish the way things worked in this world were more reflective of that. I have been just lost with this internet stuff. I am a simple artist and person and my funnest times were just hanging with this great crew when we all hung out together in one place and it was coheasive and internet stuff and all was simple. I know I am just nostalgic. I should do more to do my part but every time I do, I think to myself that I am just beating a dead horse. It is so frustrating. Brin, Ed, I just wanna see you guys happy. We all have to remember that it does not take a board or anything else to do that. It is within us all just like Batman is. We just have to act on it. I had fun doing this little video and starting on putting together my new cave and workshop of which there is much more to do, and I want to have fun doing more and reconstructing my life. It will, believe it or not, be hard for me to to decide what directions to go and how to find my passions. It was easier when everything in the world was simpler. All the best to you guys in your searches and struggles guys.

I think if good people like you stick around and pop in here every so often it'll keep things interesting around here. This place may never have the constant banter we once had, let's face it social media is where most play these days but that's OK. This place will be here as long as those that control Runboard is still here. Would I like to see more people posting? yes. But they have to be true to themselves. We'll be here if folks want to come back. Keep stopping in and sharing your vides and experiences. You and your stuff will always be appreciated.

Thank you. Nice to be wanted. My biggest problem currently and for a long time has been that I always do the same thing so it is hard to show something in video or other form that is new and worth showing that others have not already seen. I can overcome that by doing videos on telling a bit how things are done or what I am doing but others are innovating with new looks today and I am not currently doing that. I do agree I have to stop in more though and figure to do something new this fall. Just having a bigger cave and work area is not enough I have to figure what else to do. I was considering what Tony said, do do foam muscles, but I keep seeing people look like that have that covered. What do you all think?

Paul, I think it would be great if you used your talents in film making to put some great tutorials together. Oh and post your film that you showed at DC in 2004. That was a great film.
