Re: Polishing batsuit

I have a foam latex suit, the one in my avatar, and you want to give it a treatment that will not destroy the foam latex. I treated it myself to be as shiny and black as it is now. Polishing and waxing is for the Batmobile, please not for a foam-latex suit...For Batman Forever they used silicone spray to make the suit shiny but that will destroy it over time I think, any kind of oil will destroy it. I used a fat-free and oil-free black shoe shine that comes with a sponge on top, you apply is carefully and let it dry, and you repeat as needed. It makes the foamlatex real black and shiny. The product is water based, and you have to let it dry for a while, you can let it soak in a little if you have discolored or grey foam latex and it will be a fantastic dark black again. You may test your product first and read the description to find out if its fat-free and oil-free. The picture of the product is just an example as I did not found my brand! For the Bale suits its not recommended to make them shiny if you want it screen -accurat, but a Batman Begins suit will look nice too in shiny. Hope that helps!
