Ok, so the adult one is just longer? I was gonna order some online, I guess I'll do the kids if it is pretty much the same thing.

Let us know how it turns out when you paint it. Do you need to use a primer? Will the different colors affect the color after painting? Stuff like that.

Thanks again. I would have never thought about this. I’m thinking about buying two and having 4 usable pouches. They don't fit ID or ATM cards though but they're perfect for car keys, mini lights, lock picks and other little things.

Nice tutorial. I liked the way the pouches snapped open like a Zippo in the film. emoticon

Excellent tutorial.

I think the kids belt and the adult belt are the same except for the size. So since you are going to need to kit-bash two belts, may as well be the cheaper kid's belts.

That looks like it might be made out of the same kind of waxy looking plastic that the soapdish was that I used for my belt buckle. I had trouble getting the paint to stay on until I used a primer. You might want to do the same, or you might find that you can strip the paint off with just masking tape.

Ok, Im going to get the Krylon gilded brass today. I also read that Mr. Bats suggested "you prime it with fusion". I'll try to find that at homedepot. My question is will the differnce in color of the belts make a difference or is the Krylon Brass thick enough not to show? Should I spray the belt white first then brass or just brass it first.

Sorry for all the questions... I don't want to screw this up.

Thanks guys,

Pretty cool tutorial man! I might just do the same with my belt (just detach the pouches from the kid's belt, paint 'em, and attach to my belt). That would be EXCELLENT to use at the Halloween parties on Halloween (money keepers, a lot easier than digging through the costume for you wallet :guitar ).

They are too small for IDs or credit cards but are perfect for money, car keys and condoms! :lol Im going to add earth magnets to the back of my belt and use painted coughdrop boxes to store stuff. If it works I'll post some pics!
