Re: My Thor WIP
Thanks.
Something still feels off about it though and I can't figure it out. Maybe the arms need texture.
never noticed til now just how scrawny my arms are compared to my main body. Lol

Re: My Thor WIP
I think you're right about the arms. To me the bracers seem like they could be a bit longer. If you're trying to get it to look a little closer to the movie you could try some wire behind the cape to get it to rise up more on the shoulders. Nice though. I like the shade of red you have on the cape.

Re: My Thor WIP
Get some felt and cut scales for the arms or draw them on!

Re: My Thor WIP
So that torso armour, did that start off as hobby closed-cell foam that you more or less engraved the lower areas out of, then plasti-dipped? I am facing this similar issue for my son for a 2012 Con... any help would be appreciated!

Re: My Thor WIP
I answered this question in another thread but ill go a little more into detail here!
I take blue insulation foam from Lowe's.
I cnc out the design
I make a plaster mold
I pour laten into it
I get latex copies.
Thats the process both of the thor chest you have commented on were made.
I can hook you up with a chest if you need one! Email me if your interested! Email is below.
Hope the info helps.
