Aquaseal question?
I see in the archives that a few Brothers were going to give some Aquaseal a try on their urethane armor, but nobody posted results...did anyone ever try this and how did it do?
I can get urebond or this other loctite (hysol) stuff I found for urethane, but it costs more and takes 1-2 weeks to arrive...aquaseal is in stock.
Thanks!

Re: Aquaseal question?
I love aquaseal! I am using it right now on my wetsuit. It is a great way to make an emblem or just add small details to your armor. Definitely give it a shot!

Re: Aquaseal question?
Yeah but can you color the aquaseal is it black?
With ure-bond you can add colors or its kinda yellow to clear.
I would think it depends on what you wanted to do with it if just glueing something down get the aquaseal if its not seen.

Re: Aquaseal question?
Thanks Guys!
I ordered a big thing of it and some Cotol to speed it up in the curing. I will make my urethane stuff strong Dammit!
Should all be hidden areas and I'll post results/review when the time comes.

Re: Aquaseal question?
I've been using it for a while to make repairs to my neoprene suit as well as using it on areas on my armor that are high stress points. It takes a while to cure, so you can't wear your suit while gluing. I just stuff my suit with fabric, apply glue, then wrap it with tape to keep it on tight while the glue cures. Its meant for repairing wetsuits, so I use it when I blow out the seams on my undersuit as well.

Re: Aquaseal question?
And it dries clear, so no need to color it.

Re: Aquaseal question?
Got any pics of it when it's dry? I asked the people at Smooth-On what they would recommend for gluing urethane to neoprene and they said Aquaseal.

Re: Aquaseal question?
Surprising they didn't try and push their own product - Urebond.
