Your cowl looks great.
I use a black balaclava and stretch the eye hole square opening all the way UNDER my chin
which works very well for us "slight double chin" older Bats. :lol
The balaclava absorbs lots of sweat and I can suit up for over 2 hours before the major suffering begins.
 :cheers

Shut up Bro!!!! I think you just like to show off as many pics as you can since you look DAMN near just like freaking Keaton. It's scary. :lol :lol :lol

You should do a face cast up of yourself and offer them to bros at a cheaper price then a keaton one LOL. :rollin

Here's an ollldie...

Nar any chance you could show some pics of how you padded this? I'm in the same boat. I messaged you, but thought maybe this would be seen too.

I have the same cowl, and I have the same sized head.

Did you also do the aluminum inserts on this one? it looks perfect.

No buying bro, just trading. :wink

Hey Adam, I didn't use any aluminum inserts with this one but I sure wish I did! I only found out about the inserts when PJ talked about that. Once I tried it with my rd cowl, I saw the difference.

I used upholstery foam for the BD cowl, however, I also used a cotton shirt I cut up into a smaller piece and piled it evenly on the back of my head and also a little bit around my neck.
Just make sure the padding doesn't mess with the structure or real estate of the cowl's sculpt. The neck should remain thick and strong and your eye lids shouldn't really touch the surface of the eye holes. There's a perfect setting for every face and head shape. Just keep playing with the padding until you reach that harmony.
I don't have the cowl anymore as I unloaded it a while ago, so my apologies for not having any pics.

that's awesome. thanks!

I got some upholstery foam too. I also got some black pleather I'm going to use contact cement over the foam to hold it in place and make it easier to slide on/off.

I think I'll give the inserts a try too. The mock-up padding has made a huge difference in the fitment, but I can see how the inserts will make it even more form-fitted.

Holy crap, how did I miss this thread.

Your cowl looks awesome brother. Couldn't agree more that you have that Keaton look. I'm glad it worked out for you a few months ago :lol
