Strangest Costume Variant you like.
Hey bros and ladies,
I've always been a huge fan of elseworlds, action figure variants, and redesigns of Batman's costume. Most purists like to keep it close to the original design, and I get that. I would be just fine with a Neal Adams Batman or Alex Ross Batman being the only version out there. With that said, I love the bat****, crazy designs of Batman just as much. I was recently going through my friends stack of old comics and came across "Batman One Million" and honestly, it's a kick*** suit.
So I was wondering this; what are your favorite strange elseworld, variant, or redesign costumes? Maybe even your least favorite. I'm sure this question has been asked before but I'm sure this could be a fun topic. :batman

Re: Strangest Costume Variant you like.
I truth I've never been a fan of the elseworlds versions at all, the only real exception being the Gotham by Gaslight version.
Of course I've always wanted to do an adult version of the AzBat suit (did one for my son when he was 9) but that's not "really" elseworlds then is it? :wink

I like it, it's different from all the batsuit that we are used to seeing and it would be awesome to see it as a real life costume.
I say do it man, if not i will one of these years :batman

I personnally love Cyber Batman from the DCU online with his cybernetic arm, jump assist booster rockets on his calves and his retractable cowl. Even his missing eye and scars show that he is not invinsible and yet can kick butt being older and battle damaged.

I like my hybrid 89 Batsuit.
Last night I tried my official Spy vs Spy costume head piece. The hat was adjusted in this test photo, but you get the idea...

Dave- I love Spy vs. Spy!! That mask looks rad.
Blackmask- After watching the Zur en arrh episode of Brave and the Bold, that costume and character are much higher on my list. :up
Ed- AzBat always seemed so crazy it could work. Though I've been digging Jason Todd's Batsuit lately.

Thanks for the kind words. It was just one of those things I was not shopping for, but once I saw it for $30 I had to have it. Made by Elope, authorized by Mad Magazine.

I like the cowl and the belt. The glowing eyes vibe is always cool, too.
