Thanks guys. Well to be honest I had some help with the Perspex and wood. Got the perspex off my brother in law for doing some work for him and the wood was left over crating from a machine at work. Got all the metal bits from work. Just paid for the lights, hammertone paint and expanding foam and glue.
All in all I imagine it would have cost around $300-400.

I had that idea too, went as far as getting a quote from a local metal shop for the door. Nothing fancy,just a thin door with the handle,free standing on a rock style base. Had to give up when it got close to the £700 mark though  Still I can dream
