AFM - Issue #30 - Dullam/Causey Article

Hey guys and Gals, the June 04 issue #30 of "amazing figure modeler Magazine" Is going to be the "Comic Book Special" issue. This issue will feature an Alex Ross interview by our own Mike Hill, along with his incredible and award winning Superman, Batman statues, and other suprizes!. Also there will be a feature article (shameless plug)done on us (Dullam/Causey) featuring everything we've ever done (lotsa Batman, all scratch built), and then some, - Photgraphed proffesionaly.
This magazine is THE magazine for the serious sculptor. They have sculpture reviews, how to articles, and lots and lots of really clear color pictures. I know of no other magazine of this caliber.
Here are shots you won't see in the magazine, but you will see this piece completly finished in the whole 9 yards(scratch built). Also now on newstands now is the "Predator/Alien" issue #29, another must have!

This is another early develpment shot.. the "powerplant" underneath the ribs is a paper rendering so we could see where all the details would lie underneath before actually making it real.

Hi there 100% scratch built from the chassis
to the sculpt from the seat to the lights . 2 plus years alot of Blood, sweat, tears, alot from my house to Bobs, and Bob to my house.
it is like sculpting a likeness in giant form for these 2 cars , Bobs and Myself.
it is like making 100 plus reeves heads.
that is seriously speaking.

Bob and Bobby,

Thanks for the heads-up on the new issues - it's exactly as you describe, hands down the best magazine in the biz. Great art direction by David Fisher, and the quality of the entire magazine is outstanding.

We don't usually get too many copies here locally, and when we do they sell out quickly. Time to become a subscriber I guess. Can't wait to see your article guys!

Regards,
TheBatHound
