Your Favorite Bruce Wayne - Poll
For this week I thought I'd shift things up a little.
Instead of talking about Batman, I thought I'd talk about Bruce Wayne. Who's done your favorite portrayal of him?

Kevin Conroy, hands down!
He's the only one that has gotten it down perfectly! But again, he's also the only one that has gotten good writing thoughout the whole project.

Re: Poll of The Week 7/01/04...
Keaton and Conroy a close second. Keaton has those crazy eyes. Conroy the voice, plus it's (IMHO) much more difficult to do voice-over work. And because he wasn't really a Bat-fan when he got the job. After someone explained the mythology to him, he said, "Oh, so he's 'Hamlet'." Conroy works all the time! I hear him a lot on the WB doing promos. ("This week on 'Charmed' the girls get more than they bargained for...") Is he going to be the voice for the new cartoon? I haven't heard.

Re: Poll of The Week 7/01/04...
I can't cast a vote as for each has good atributes to the character.
As for
West: the show was in the 60's and it was campy so I don't think anyone else could have done the role
Keaton: As I thought he was good as Batman and bruce wayne ( acting) he just didnt seem to really look the part as Bruce.
Kilmer: I think he fit the part of bruce better but wasnt happy with the potrayal as Batman.
Conroy: We never see him only hear his voice but judging from what I hear heis good but yet in the cartoon world I'm sure they could get more people to do the voice that would do just as good of a job.
Clooney: I thik If clooney had a better director and a better writter that he would have been able to do more. The worst part of the film had to be Schwarzenegger and Schumaucher.

Re: Poll of The Week 7/01/04...
1990s, lean, hard-muscled, angular-faced Kevin Conroy even looked a lot more right for both Bruce Wayne and Batman. And the somewhat sloppy way Keaton/Bruce sometimes spoke in both his films might have been scripted to appeal to "the common man;" but the calibre of Bruce's language in the Animated Series is also higher, giving Conroy a much nobler edge as well.
