Re: Poll of The Week 7/01/04...
Keaton was always my favorite "Batman". Conroy is a great voice for Batman.
But..if I had to pick the ideal Bruce Wayne out of the above, I would have to go with Clooney. He fits the personality & pulls off the handsome bachelor type.
It just sucks he had such a bad director and script!

Re: Poll of The Week 7/01/04...
I gotta go with my namesake, Conroy is my favourite Wayne, I think it maybe because he's the one I've had the most exposure to. In the films Bruce Wayne has tended to be just Batman's secret identity and hasn't been properly dealt with, in my opinion.

Re: Poll of The Week 7/01/04...
Okay, I am a huge fan of BTAS, but as far as Bruce goes, kinda unfair to give it to just a voice...so I have to go with Keaton he had Mystery in his eyes a certain sadness to him, you can't really see Conroy, ya know?
could say more but I am tired...:zzzz
They both win in my book! :up :up

I voted for Keaton as I love the scene in the first film in the Armor room. "Six....is six good???" Perfect Bruce Wayne. BUT I think that Kilmer looked the "Bruce" part better.

Kilmer had the look, but conroy the duality. Thanks for posting that pic, I wondered what he looked like.
Make conroy a bat in a film, he already has the voices down.

Re: Poll of The Week 7/01/04...
I loved Keaton's performance which although not truly faithful to the comics, was fun to watch. I guess I'd say Conroy's performance was the most faithful to the character because of the excellent writing, although out of everyone I thought Clooney looked best as Bruce Wayne and was saddled with a horrific script and direction.

Re: Poll of The Week 7/01/04...
Ok, I cant vote. I love Kevin (not cause we have the same name, but that helps) cause the voice made the cartoon. Then when they brought out the New Adventures and gave Bruce Wayne those glass blue eyes, it made him the perfect Bruce Wayne (not a fan of the black dots of the old animated series... thats why I have a problem with Christian Bale's hazel eyes, but if they can change Legoles' [spelling?] in post production, then WB can do it too, damnit). But I love Keatons proformance also... As Bruce, he played it like he lived his life as the bat, and Wayne was his alter-ego. Like he really didnt get out much, like it should be. When he was in the cave as Wayne, he was still Batman without the suit. Its weird, and Im a dork... I dont know what Im saying other than I cant vote.
