Al, I appreciate your optimism, but I'm not holding my breath on getting a real Year One look or Batman movie.:wink
From the suits you listed, I'd have to say the 89 probably looks the best (except for that emblem), but that's only when it's standing still. It doesn't hold up the good looks so much when it's moving around. The best suit for mobility would definately have to be the Begins suit... but both suits have buckethead cowls that I'm not overly fond of, and even though the Begins suit moves well I don't like the design element to it at all.
Ah well, there's always the fine work of the brothers here on the site that I can appreciate when I want to see a batsuit more to my liking. :)

1)Returns-partial to the Industrial look to it. Reminds me of the silent movie "Metropolis."
2) 89 and Begins-89 for the brutal, basic look it brought Bats, and Begins for a nice variation on a theme.
3) Dead End/JL-I just don't have the bod to wear spandex or I'd be happy to put one of these together.
4) Panther-pretty, like the pretty-boy Kilmer. Nice suit, just reminds me too much of the film.
5)West-the one that brought me to the Bat.
6)Clooney-disliked this just because of the movie.
I can't remember any more right now.

I will just chime in that I am partial to the latex rubber suits cause no one needs to see MY tubby vigilante flubber of vengence in spandex...but hey, if you can do it, go for it...till then the 89 suit rules in my world.

Well you never know. In Begins, they stepped the story up a notch so maybe the suit will be the next thing on down the road(more optimism huh?)
