1)89-a hulking piece, with muscle-inspired armor allowing a functional, yet comic book-freindly look. The scariest suit in a dark alley.
2)Begins-Armor. A cape that doesn't shine and adds perfect stealth. A year one suit that looks thrown together, but in a stylish way. Can look scary or soft depending on actions/expression/surrondings. Plus it's an ideal suit for those you aren't lantern jawed.
3)Returns-Cool, but non-menacing cowl. Armor was simple and cool, but seemed kind of industrialized. Best seen in light.
4)Panther-The closest to the comic look with the muscle design. Sleek, meant to be cool, not scary. Good for a Bruce with an average jaw, a stern "business face" and an easy smile. The nipples were a bit much.
5)Dead End. Great expressive, scary cowl, 89 cape. Suit was too light and thin, real nipples are as bad as fake ones. Meant for body builders, not actors, as Clark (he's a nice guy, but should stick to comic eye candy) proved.
6)Sonar-The armor over muscle look was cool, but it was a little big. Not muscle big, just too many layers big. The cowl was cool, but the vents were unnecassary. Would be better black or grey/black, not silver.
7)B&R-The Panther suit with too many ridiculous add-ons.
8)Ice suit-Badly colored sonar.

I'm gonna have to go w/ a mixed review. Personally, I think nothing beats the dead end cowl/mask. That gargoyle-like face w/ those white contacts was truley terrifying (the way bats wants to be thought of by criminal scum  ). But my favorite "suit" would have to be the "begins" armor. Combine the Begins armor w/ the Dead end cowl/cape... You have my vote! :up That is one scary looking bat!

I love the Dead End cowl, but I am not a fan of spandex for Batman.

The 89 suit...Hands down. It was the first time that Batman walked off the screen for me and I could see him as scaring the crap out of someone in a dark alley..:)

Dead End.
But as for the movie suits, 89 and Returns were my favourites but now I think Begins has taken the top spot now.

The Begins suit is definitely my new favorite! The 1989 model is still a close second, followed by the 1966 Adam West version.

i was very close to voting for the Begins suit. It and the `89 are my favorites, but I had to go with `89 because I like the cowl and the shape of the ears a little bit better.
How they rank in my book:
1. 89
2. Begins
3. Returns
4. Dead End
I have to agree with Jokerswild7's comment, the other rubber suits just don't hold up. They were way too cartoonish. Same with the 60s costume.

The 89 suit is will always be my favorite by far. The Returns suit is second.

I'm with GoldenAge on this one . . . latex suits just don't do it for me.
Batman Begins could have shown more of a costume evolution (tights over protective armor) but went the same route as the other movie designs.
** sigh. **
Oh, well.
