My newest toy...
I've been meaning to make one of these babies for literally years, so a few days ago I got off my lazy hiney, slapped some plans together, and got crackin! I used a lot of information from the studiocreations.com website and from tk560.com, if anyone is interested in making a Vacuum Form Machine for themselves.
Here's my baby:
Here's my first test pull on a "For Rent" Sign:
Here's the pull with the model, a Cyclotron from a Ghostbusters Proton Pack I am making:
So what's on the slab? I've got some ideas for my Bucky O'Hare series of costumes. I've also got my eye on a Space Marine costume from Warhammer 40K. I'm so excited!!!

Re: My newest toy...
Well lets see... I put probably about $200 into it, including the $70 Shop Vac. If you have a cauk gun already, that'll save you about $10. I already had the wood that I made the box out of, so I saved a few $$ there. But yeah, goin from scratch, I'd say you'll spend a little over $200. OOOOH BUT ITS WORTH IT! ITS SO FREEKIN COOL!!! Even my mom was geeking out at how cool it was when we did that first test!
