Have you guys seen or heard of this story?
On one of the sites I get a lot of interesting clips from, I clicked on a link entitled "Return of the Crazy Woman". I didn’t know what to find, but it did have an amusing sound to it. Sometimes you never know what you’re gonna’ get, when you click on some links. :fright
I had no idea this story was in the news. Obviously it's being kept out of the mainstream news and being more focused on the talk-show type groups.
:dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw :dropjaw
This clip starts the "show" of this ignorant Kansas woman, where this clip follows up.
In the first clip, where Hannity says to her, "You're obviously a nut", as he throws in in there while she's talking, is a riot!
Then he goes on to say, "You're as mean and as sick and as CRUEL, as anybody that I've ever had on this program. ANd the fact that you use religion, to justify your hatred in this way... Is frankly... It's mind-numbing".
Bravo!
Sometimes I'm thankful that people like this exist in the world, because it makes me feel more comfortable about my own life. Yet, at the same time, I'm embarrassed that people like this are associated as part of America, not to mention the human race. :ohwell
The poor families that had to endure that sh*t, while they were burying their son. :grumble

Re: Have you guys seen or heard of this story?
This woman is part of the family of Fred Phelps. Fred is a "minister" out of the midwest who takes his church-folk out to these funerals. I believe it's Westford Baptist somewhere in Kansas. Now, the church consists almost entirely of his family, or the unfortunate souls who happen to marry into it.
Fred is extremely frightening. He and his brood have been doing this for years. They also protested at the funerals for the brave men and women lost in the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks.
He got his first big nationwide exposure at the funeral for Matthew Shepard.
Fred has a couple of websites out there. God Hates America is one of them, along with God Hates F*g*.
I have portrayed Fred in a play. It felt very creepy and evil to climb into the his skin every night. Things that I would never believe or say in a million years had to come from my mouth. It's a wonder that someone hasn't tried to kill him and/or his family yet.
In short...yeah...they're nuts.

Yeah, I'm very surprised no one has gone over the edge and actually attacked them. The things they do.. I wouldn't blame the person for lashing out.
