Call me Mr. Freeze!
:flapbat
The heat here in New York has been relentless. It must have gotten up to 100 or so yesterday, and it is expected to do the same today. I hate it, because I am rebuilding my computer, and am having a hard time because of a lack of air conditioning. And I do understand perfectly what you Southern members go through, since I lived in South Carolina for a while in 1997.

Re: Call me Mr. Freeze!
I live in an attic (really) with no AC and a wall worth of south facing windows. Was 93 or so here today, so I feel your pain. I can't turn my computer on during the day, it'll overheat and shut down within 5 minutes.
I keep eyeballing those room air conditioners that look like dehumidifiers. Maybe look into one of those? You could paint it to look like <Mr. Freeze. :p

Re: Call me Mr. Freeze!
Catfan I share your pain bro!
It's even worse today too.
I don't mind the heat too much because in Paris no one has AC so i'm used to it but it's that !@#$ humidity and ...the...sub...way.. plat....form..pant pant
it's like a sauna except you're dressed up!
what really freaked me out was when it was still 95 at 10PM....
it's insane

Re: Call me Mr. Freeze!
I haven't decided what's worse. Being outside where it's 101 (here in DC) or being in my office where the A/C is set at about 58. I keep going from sweating to shivering.

Brin, you crazy man! :cookoo
I grew up in New Orleans and the heat with the humidity is like breathing in some sort of nuclear fall out. Its absolutly miserable. But, I'd rather that than 10 below zero and snow everywhere. Thats the only thing I hate about Illinois.
