I've seen Superman Returns

LET ME START OFF BY SAYING THE NEW SPIDERMAN 3 TRAILER PLAYS WITH THIS MOVIE AND IT IS FREAKING AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Now my review: Spoilers ahead, but not plot spoilers.

I liked the movie a lot, but I didn't love it. Maybe a second showing will adjust that.

The movie starts off great, then the last 20 minutes lost me.

I wanted to see more of Clark on the farm and in Metropolis. It felt like there was more Lois and Lex time on the screen.

If you're a fan of the Superman soundtrack, DO NOT go out and buy this new one. There is nothing new, and the only new theme sounds like it's out of the Lion King.

Brandon does a great job at Clark and Superman.

There was a lot of scenes that were cut. Scenes that were either in the trailers or we've seen pictures of.

There are a lot of great Super moments in the movie and great lines.. but some of them are just ripped off from the original movie.

They never explain how Superman got back to Krypton.. did he fly, did he use the old ship. They cut that scene too, of young clark seeing the ship in the barn.

Maybe I was expecting too much, because I'm a Superman nut. There are a lot of great Superman moments, they just needed to be streched out a little more to take them in.

I know this sounds like a bad review, but I can't wait to see the movie again on Friday.

PS: The opening credits are great.

Lucky you! I can't wait to take the young ones. Too bad about having less Supes and more Lex and Lois. I hated that about the first Batman flick....and the second....and the third.....

After hearing this interview I'm, even less excited about seeing it. I'll still go and try to have a good time, but Singer is touting this as a "classic love story":

"There's Lois Lane, the love of Superman's life, with a fiancé, and a young son whose paternity is in question. There's Lex Luthor - his archenemy - out of prison, with diabolical plans. And there are plenty of special effects.

The key thing for me was to not lose the emotional center with all the spectacle and all of that. And that instead of having the usual comic book film where the boyfriends have to drag the girlfriends to go see it, maybe this will be one that the girlfriends will drag their boyfriends to go see," says Singer.

Does that mean it's a chick flick?

"It's a chick flick," says the director"

I havent been real excited over this from the beginning, and after reading some of the spoilers i must say, im really not liking it. I will stay final judgement until i see it, but im not going in with too high of expectations.

I'm eager to hear what you guys think..

I'm very bias about Superman. I was 8 years old when I saw the first movie on the big screen and I've been scared ever since. So my expectations are big.
