Pics from the IMATS this past weekend in Pasadena...Screen used X-3 items also!!!
These are just some, as I'm trying to figure out where I downloaded the rest.....:\
I easily have 25 more pics but I fear they got erased.....damn computers:down ..actually the computers are fine...it's me that cant work them properly.
Here's a few...
From Jordu Shell's table. Very nice guy, and the best way to discribe him is raw...raw talent. His work was pretty impressive. I've seen it on the web for years but to see it in person was quite a treat, as was meeting him.
These are from the Museum display...
Although all the pieces here were cool, this one really blew me away...
THese next pisc are epoxy collapsable molds for the flick Click. I'm leaving these full size so they can be fully appreciated. There's also a neat article showing the FX shop, the guys who worked on these pieces and the molds themselves in the 10 YR anniversary Make Up Artist Magazine.
These molds were impressive...

i had the chance to work with jordu on a passion play that my church put on this past april. gotta say his attitude is not the best especially when working an a play like one that deals with the death and resurrection of jesus christ. but i gotta say that he is an exceptional artist. his sculptures are freakin' awesome

I wouldn't mind a cast of the Lucy Liu bust if the top of her head wasn't lopped off. :lol
