Most of it would be based on light and shadow. Imagine what direction the light is coming from. This determines which way the shadow falls...higher spots are lighter, deeper spots are darker. Here's a quick example of a pencil sketch. Two faces to give you an idea: Pick up a cheap "how to draw faces" book and look at real photos,comis,etc... and try to copy what you see. Then practice! Draw shading for only the left or right side, thin lines depicting the left and right nostril and one small line depicting the tip. These lines don't have to connect eith but just be in proportion enough with each other to give the illusion of a complete nose. Hope this helps.nondisclosed_email@example.com (troilluss)Sat, 08 May 2004 09:08:01 +0000 Help drawing noses.https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1778981,from=rss#post1778981https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1778981,from=rss#post1778981Hi. I know this is a kind of weird question, but how do you draw semi realistic noses? I can draw side views, but everything goes wrong when I try front views. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance.nondisclosed_email@example.com (reddkryten)Fri, 07 May 2004 21:51:17 +0000
