Muscle Suits

I want a muscle suit for my "suit" but I dont want it to be stiff latex. I wanna wear it underneath a spandex suit. With latex wouldnt it stick out at parts...especially if it doesnt fit me perfectly. I was thinking of making my own but I have no idea wear to start.

Re: Muscle Suits

I could help you out, if you need something very lightweight for wearing under your bodysuit. DT has used my generic light armor, under his spandex year 1 style suit.

e-mail me and maybe we can do a trade of some sort.

Re: Muscle Suits

The way many guys go is to carve foam muscles and attach them to fabric. Its not that hard and its cheap. Its an age old technique and there are many tutorials on line for it.

Its basicly how many suits for tv and movies were done and many still are. It also is the basis for some of the daredevil and wolverine style jackets. You just have to cut the muscles right. The mobility and weight is great.

Re: Muscle Suits

But it will be covered by thin spandex...do you think it will have kinda sharp edges?

Re: Muscle Suits

Its pretty standard to do it that way just do a good job on the muscle cuts and use a heavy duty spandex which is a nicer look anyways. It takes a little tweaking but the over all effect is nice and fairly cheap. Not as easy as paying for it to be done for you of course but I think foam has a much better look and mobility for this application than wearing full rubber underneath.
