Dying Under Armour
Has anyone successfully dyed any Under Armour garments?

Re: Dying Under Armour garments...
There are several threads about that on the old BOTB
not an easy thing to do according to them if I recall

Re: Dying Under Armour garments...
Somebody claimed to have done it successfully, but I can't remember exactly who.
It's a shame because the pieces they make could be bought off the peg and simply dyed, and you'd have a quality two piece suit like seen in Dead End.
Apparently it's near impossible to dye Micro Fibre garments from home, as regular dyes wont penetrate the fabric evenly.
--- Hee hee. "Get her." That was your whole plan. I like it; it was scientific.

Re: Dying Under Armour garments...
If I remember correctly it was Batproducer.
His last post on the subject said something to the effect of "I think I've figured out how to dye it at home. But before I post a tutorial I want to see if the dye job stands up to washing"
Since the tutorial never showed up I figured it didn't work out the way he wanted it to.

Re: Dying Under Armour garments...
no, i haven't dyed under armor. but knowing what the fabric content of the garments are, i can say i won't be an easy process ans doubt rit will work effectively. one thing people don't think about when dying items at home is the color fastness. yeah, it may look good when you're done, but will it last? will it fade greatly over time or when washed?

I know Under Armour will dye garments... But only if you're in the sports / movie business...
