89suit Rubber Elbow Tutorial
here's a pic of my undersuit: NRS front-zipped, lycra/fleece.
to achieve the "rubbery" look on the elbows,
i just wrapped a pair latex sheets (glued by rubber cement).
the elbow guards are 1-inch thick minicel foams glued to the latex sheets.
if you want to do this, measure everything before you start gluing...especially the elbow guards.
the latex sheet length should be long enough to be concealed by the gloves & chest armor/vest.
the latex sheet is very thin and flexible so it's fairly comfortable to wear.
and on warm weather, you can take it off!
...'just my small contribution to the cave

Re: 89suit Rubber Elbow Tutorial
Ah. I had always thought that was a big piece that went from the forearm to the elbow and not just elbo armor. Thanks for the cap. Never seen that pic before!
