Re: wetsuit alternatives?

I hate to be the one to rain on everyone's parade (ok...so I don't) but a shirt with built in muscles for $45.00??
If you look close at the pic, you can plainly see that the whole thing is photo shopped.....I think the company is just trying to give an example of how tight fitting the piece is.
Good luck to whoever orders one.

Here's the wet suit that I used...

http://www.citlink.net/~bwana/lycrainfo.htm

It doesn't have any muscle definition, except for the one you have now :grumble

It's cheap, it's unisex, and it's pretty cool to wear too. Did I mention it was CHEAP emoticon

Since the fabric is the same pattern cut on both sides(front/back), you can wear the suit
"backwards"(without "feeling" funny) so the zipper is in the back.

DT has a point here...
if you go to Under Armour website,
they have the same way of displaying their tights :

Jediweapon, I have done the same thing a few times myself. Just ribbing you my friend.

I have to agree with DT also. The first shirt (without the muscle definition) is also photoshopped with arms and chest inside it. just a marketing ploy.

Yeah, I would also say the muscles are just the "mannequin form," whether real or virtual, and is just for display purposes.

Well, I'm pretty much in agreance that the suit is just displayed that way to show what it would look like over someone of that build, but we can always find out.

Here's a question though...we've all seen sports gear that has that squishy (stress ball feeling) type of shaping built into the material (like baseball catchers vests for one) so why is it not possible to do something like this? Imagine not having to rely on latex glued on your undersuit of choice to give you that superhero build you've always wanted.

I know Rick has been looking into a similar idea, but this type of suit if built is more subtle than what he had described. This thing could make you look naturally like you were buff & cut.

Just something to think about.
