Re: I Got A Question For The Brothers
That looks alot better than I thought it would.
I think that you did a great job. It sure beats the heck out of the Rubies stuff!!

Re: I Got A Question For The Brothers
It does indeed look very cool. I made hte mistake of showing my wife, and got the "why didn't you do that with your instead of buying that new (Rubies) one?" :doh
Oh well. Looks very sharp. May have to do that in order to have a seperate suit for each cowl
Again, looks super. Even up close, can't tell much difference between that one and a Rubies one.

Re: I Got A Question For The Brothers
It looks good and the one I have doens't have the raised symbal. It's for a Beyond costume or something. I'm gonna go get a few since they are three dollars a piece and buy a few cans of Plasti-dip. Then, I guess I'll play around.

Re: I Got A Question For The Brothers
If anyone wants a Rubies muscle suit chest let me know. I will sell you one.
Believe me there are alot better things out there. But it will work on a budget.

Re: I Got A Question For The Brothers
I would think you could coat it wit latex forst then apply the Plasti if you were so inclined. I think it would be fine.

Re: I Got A Question For The Brothers
I actually have one of those that I was planning to do the very same thing with. Since then, I've been able to acquire some really nice generic pieces and kind of abandoned the project. It looks like it might be worth doing it again...
I too thought that it would be a good thing to use under a cloth suit. You'd have to fill out the muscle sections so they wouldn't collapse or bend & crease. It's definitely worth a shot...

Re: I Got A Question For The Brothers
Once you get a good layer of Plastidip on it the chance of the bends and creases is not an issue. It becomes very resistant as long as you don't sit on it.
You could also do the Robin one in Red Plastidip ... I have one of those somewhere around here..
3 bucks a piece is a deal !!!! You should buy all they have ..... I am sure you could unload a few and cover your costs on your suit ... Halloween is coming and Ebay is always just a few key strokes away

Re: I Got A Question For The Brothers
I did a Robin that way for a friend a couple years ago. I put a couple thin coats of latex on it first, then sprayed it with Plasti-dip. It came out looking pretty good, he won 1st place in a costume contest! At that price, you can't lose!
