Latexed Wetsuit Sticking Together Inside
Ok so yesterday I latexed all the exposed areas of the wetsuit and plasti-dipped over it. In a lot of the areas the latex soaked through the suit, now the inside of the suit wants to stick to itself in numerous spots, and it makes creases that are REALLY hard to undo. Any ideas how I can fix this? Would soaking the whole wetsuit in the tub help?

When the latex fully cures, the stickyness will go away. I usually stuff the bodysuit, latex the exposed areas, plasti-dip them then let the suit sit around for a few days until the sticky feel of the latex goes away.

If you want to speed up the process you can wash it with a garden hose and ajax dish soap. Then you always have the option of spraying or wiping with armor all.

Yep, I bet we will get into a big debate on it now. It is only one way. It is not the only way but boy it does do wonders for certain applications. The biggest drawback is that you have to make sure everything is just as you like it because further work on it will be difficult once armoralled.

Is there any reason that he can't just baby powder the inside of the suit?
I had the same prob with my Predator suit wanting to stick to itself (it 100% latex) and powdering did the trick.

Baby powder is just great but it gets on everything and it is white so I don't use it anymore except when first making something until it is washed.

I used to use baby powder on latex appliances. There is a type of "colorless powder" that you can buy but I can't tell the difference.
