My Utility Belt - Pics
Well my "realistic" style utility belt is finally complete, though I'm not revealing my full costume yet, here are some pics of the belt completed.
I really appreciate any feedback. :)
Here's a frontal picture of the belt, though the belt buckle (ARTSEE) has a goldish hue to it in the pics, it really isn't that way - it's just my lighting kit which doesn't have a filter on it yet, the buckle I repainted so it had a "battle ravaged" silver. :)
A pouch with some goodies inside...
Full belt shot without the buckle attached, and some of my 'rangs on the side...
This picture is of the buckle with no lighting, just the camera flash - you can see the silver that it is,
This one is with lighting - it brings out the detail, but unfiltered it looks slightly more gold.
I'd love some feedback, see what everybody thinks.

Re: My New Utility Belt Completed, PICS!
Very nice. That's the kind of belt I've always thought the Dark Knight would have - black and functional. The yellow or gold color looks nice, but doesn't seem as realistic as a black one. I've actually been thinking of doing a belt VERY similar to this one & I think you've just given me the inspiration to follow through with it.
Are all of the pieces nylon, or are some of the pouches leather? Base belt - nylon? Leather? Cotton web?

Re: My New Utility Belt Completed, PICS!
Thanks guys! :dancespot
KnightStix, glad you like it :) , The belt is a nylon pistol belt that I bought at an Army/Navy store near me, and the pouches are also nylon - I think they look great when the light hits them, lots of detail... But Paul's buckle is the final detail that makes it look awesome, can't say enough good things about it.
Love to hear the comments, thanks guys!

Re: My New Utility Belt Completed, PICS!
looks good. very similar to what i am planning for my comic version. Im using larger pouches. I have been trying to decide which way im repainting the buckle.
all black
all silver
silver back plate/red anodized bat
copper back plate/ red anodized bat
I'm leaning more to the silver and red combo
