Panther Style Belt - From Sculpt to Finished
Ive started on my first belt, I went for Panther because i think its the coolest belt ever...
Im not trying to do any accurate belt like David,Janty and those pro people do :)
Im just making one as good as i can, so i might get together a suit sometime.
Its just going to be a one piece belt that i will mold and cast in latex, and then plasti dip the whole thing.
Here is the buckle, Its not finish yet, alot left to do.
*I know the buckle should be wider, But im pretty new whit this stuff and im just making it out of pics as refference, But whit more practise i might will be able to make a accurate belt. PLus the way this emblem is on the buckle makes it look like a Returns emblem, thats why i think its pretty special :)*
When my replica panther buckle from Gonzalo arrives i will start to make a more Accurate belt. This belt is more a Forever/Returns style belt...

Re: Panther/Returns Emblem style Belt....Work in progress (1 Pic atm)
Ive made the buckle a little wider, worked on the pouches, and added rest of the belt.
This is not the final sculpt heh, alot of smoothing whit the fingers needed and a few more details ill wait to do.
Here are some progress pics.

Re: Panther style Belt whatever you want to call it, Work in progress New pics :)
On that belt I think you are going about it in the wrong way. It would be better to create each element better out of a harder material which will hold detail and be able to polished then combine them and cast. You are going after a very hard project for your first shot. I wish you well. Have fun at least.

Re: Panther style Belt, Pics of the mold and latex poured. Work in progress.
I used to edit pictures like that.
I wish I was as fast as you man.
Remember, let the latex dry enough before you pull it out of the mold. Looking good so far.
It's good to see that you have the materials and can finally get to experiment with them for yourself.
Best of luck.

Thanks cleveland,
Im thinking of making my own armor to, Got so many things in my head because i found material.
This is really fun making these stuff.
Yeah the buckle and pouches area havent dryed yet, will wait untill that drys before i pull, good thing i noticed when the latex is white and i didnt mix any color in it, is that its easy to see where its dryed through or not.

Re: Panther style Belt, Pics of the mold and latex poured. Work in progress.
Ok guys its finally dry and i just pulled out the belt, need some clean up and some plasti dip on, and ready to crime fighting :)
Im really happy of this belt since its my first belt and "custome" job. Even though its not very accurate i think it looks cool over all.
Have to get a buckle to glue on the back so it fits larger people if needed.
Here is some pics, will ofcourse post pic of the final belt when its been plasti diped and so on :)
Enjoy!
P.S This is my first batman belt ever, im so happy hehe!
