Got to give you points for the sheer "go get em" attitude - you are going full on at this.

Re: Panther style Belt, FIRST PULL!!! ** PICS**
Thanks guys hehe...
Ive started some on the chest. After that is done, i have to slow down. think im doing to much stuff, Batman stuff. makes me go crazy.
This hobby takes over pretty quick hehe. have to go back to the social life and not just sit in the cave and work :grumble
But im still dreaming about having a Returns style suit done sometime... Even if i dont get suppoirt from my parents and such.
My brothers think im just wasting money on doing this.. kinda make me think i might have to slow down.. ah well..
Thanks for all the support..

Re: Panther style Belt, FIRST PULL!!! ** PICS**
Here it is plasti dipped, now i really see that i really have to get proper sculpt tools to smooth out areas and stuff, hard to just use the fingers.
Anyway im actually very happy about this belt so i thought id share some pictures.
Also sorry for the bad pictures, My digital cam is broken.
Comments are welcome

Re: Panther style Belt, Plasti dipped and complete, just the buckle on the back left PICS page 2
Well, my last attempt at posting failed when my computer froze.
You can make your own sculpting tools, just google search "homemade sculpting tools" I watched a few of the Mark Alfrey videos, he uses a Popsicle stick a lot. If you go over here The monster lab you could find pictures of homemade tools if you ask, actually, probably get some from here too.
I don't think this is the same type of slow down your parents meant, but maybe spend a little longer trying to smooth things out, those pictures really do show some of the flaws. You're off to a really good start, you can get the general forms, but maybe a little more time on detail. Practice sculpting and refine the sculpture more, you don't have to mold everything.
I think you're on the right track and can do it. Maybe get some oil based clay so you can let it sit there while you go out and have a social life too. Make something you can legally sell, make some money, and they'll leave you alone.
oops, almost forgot to put it in this post, I really do like the belt, even with the flaws. It shows that you CAN do it, and more importantly that you WANT to do it.

Re: Panther style Belt, Plasti dipped and complete, just the buckle on the back left PICS page 2
Thank you very much cleveland.
Yeah i think i make these stuff to "fast" but whit practise.. i think im gonna be a little better at this, I actually like the belt to.. even whit the flaws, it looks more homemade.. and used... then perfect and "new" looking.
About selling, a friend of mine have ordered 4 minirangs from me, im not gonna get into on how much but here is a pics of his minirangs im gonna send to him soon, just finished plasti dip them.
My digital camera is broken so i took the video camera, had to use the flashlight didnt have a nice light anywhere near.

Perserverence!
Keep practicing, and keep reading up on everything you can about sculpting, and casting. You'll be as good as anyone around sooner than you think.
