Blue Cloth Cowl - Pics
Hey all, well, its coming along, many of you asked about the cowl when i posted before, so here it is. The ears are being molded today, but here it is with out the ears so far. It turned out ok for my first try.
The mouth and chin line was the hardest to get right, if its at the wrong angle, its just looks wrong. let me know what you think.
On my plastic life mask:

Re: New Blue Cloth Cowl PICS
FINALLY!! someone has done EXACTLY what I have been picturing in my head for as long as I can remember of what a Bat cowl should look like (although I personally like black over blue) Simply amazing. I can't wait to see it with the ears added on
So a few questions:
How does it feel when you wear it? Comfortable at all?
What does the back look like and how do you get this thing on? Does it stretch enough that you can pull it over your head or do you have some type of zipper in the back?
Will you be making anymore?

Looking great! That's going to be sweeet when you're done. The Blue/Gray combo you don't see too often anymore. The Classic look.
Cowl's off to you!

Re: New Blue Cloth Cowl PICS
thanks guys. the ears will be long, like the comic.
Terry- the fabric is stretch pvc, it pulls right over my head. I will be making a black one soon too =)
when i am done i'll post a tutorial, it wasnt really that hard, just took patients.
I could make more, but this mask was built to fit my face exactly, dont know how it would fit anyone else.
Thanks again =)

Re: New Blue Cloth Cowl PICS
Wow! Just WOW! That's the best looking cloth cowl I've seen. I think you're onto something there bro! That's gonna be spectacular with the ears on it. I think you may have set a new standard for comic style costumes!
As I said when you showed us your cowl-less suit... You've chosen the perfect shade of blue. I've always preferred the black to the blue in most iterations of the comic suit, but you've got me liking what you're doing there. Can't wait to see it all finished!!!!!!
