Eye Blackening
Hiya Brothers:
What do you guys use to darken around your eyes for a good overall Batman look?
Thanks
Frank

Re: Eye Blackening?
We use snazaroo stage makeup. Doesn't run easily and is very dark.

Re: Eye Blackening?
Try to find the high end stuff by them, as opposed to the kids face painting kits. We use the stuff that comes in it's own container and is the more professional version of their makeup.

Re: Eye Blackening?
That stuff sounds pretty good! Other possibles include the Hunting Camo compacs at Walmart, Mehron works pretty decent, just make sure to let it dry throughly first.
Never use the cheapo stuff!! :grumble

Re: Eye Blackening?
I'm using Reel Creations body ink in black. It'll stay on no matter how much sweating.

Re: Eye Blackening?
Funny thing you mention Wal-Mart. I was over at my local wal-mart and asked for hunting camo compac and he said they don't have it and that won't carry any more of that stuff. He directed to me to the makeup stuff that you use for halloween. Doesn't that stuff run when you sweat?

Re: Eye Blackening?
Riddler, that Reel Creations body ink stuff is pretty easy to remove? That's my one hangup with the snazaroo, takes forever to wash off. I wouldn't mind trying some of the Real Creations if it's as good as you say and easier to get off.

Re: Eye Blackening?
For the most part. You can't really just scrub it off. You'd need to use a remover. Reel Creations sells a remover in both cream and liquid form. I use Isopropyl Myristate.
Be carefull aroudn the eyes. But the ink is safe for eyes. I'll do some pics (or video) of removal.
It's not like you have to scrub until you take off a layer of skin though.
