You did a good job there mexicanbat. It just takes a little patience to get the clay down right, but it works. Obviously though the best way is to pour the black resin into the bat and ring mold first, then the yellow, followed by more black (my preferred method). Or doing it in three pieces and attaching it all together, but if you have just a solid 1 piece emblem, the clay method will do the trick.

Now that we have cover some very excellent ways of painting emblems lets cover the questions on how everyone attaches them to their cowls and what holds well and how the cowl is attached to the chest armor.
I will start a new thread for this emblem/cowl sub topic.

Sorry to stray off topic but could somebody tell me if the 89 emblem is 6" or 6 1/2" wide? I'm making my own but I have no clue how big to make it.

My 89'emblem is actually just under 5 and 3/4. And i recieved this from someone who has a film casting and mine was made off that.
