They go all the way up to my elbows. I may actually shorten them. I should also note that these gloves gauntlet is slightly bell shaped. I rehemmed mine and pit Adam West style fins in them this weekend and while doing it I removed the bell shape as well. Anyone with a good sewing machine should be able to take care of this. nondisclosed_email@example.com (efarrell4)Mon, 30 Aug 2004 21:07:40 +0000 Re: Ravenwood Swordsmans Gauntletshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798166,from=rss#post1798166https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798166,from=rss#post1798166My gloves from ravenswood should be here in the next couple of days. I will post a couple of pics for you before I modify them. nondisclosed_email@example.com (jpsimmons)Mon, 30 Aug 2004 19:34:03 +0000 Re: Ravenwood Swordsmans Gauntletshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798165,from=rss#post1798165https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798165,from=rss#post1798165I received a reply from Ravenswood. The gauntlets are about 9 inches from the wrist - yep, that's just about to the elbow. Do any of the folks mentioned mold fins that are close to the war on crime one?nondisclosed_email@example.com (nevada jay)Mon, 30 Aug 2004 17:37:38 +0000 Re: Ravenwood Swordsmans Gauntletshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798164,from=rss#post1798164https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798164,from=rss#post1798164Thanks for the link bro! You'll have to cut the seams in 3 places so the fins can pop through.nondisclosed_email@example.com (efarrell4)Sat, 28 Aug 2004 21:52:46 +0000 Re: Ravenwood Swordsmans Gauntletshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798161,from=rss#post1798161https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798161,from=rss#post1798161Ask artsee1 (Paul) about fins.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jpsimmons)Sat, 28 Aug 2004 21:48:01 +0000 Re: Ravenwood Swordsmans Gauntletshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798160,from=rss#post1798160https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798160,from=rss#post1798160Those are nice. They are slightly bell shaped in the gauntlet but that is easy to remedy with a sewing machine. I plan to take mine in about 1/2" in each seam and at the same time sew in the fins (which I will also make from leather) then recolor them Navy Blue. Can't beat these base gloves for the price.nondisclosed_email@example.com (efarrell4)Fri, 27 Aug 2004 22:57:33 +0000 Re: Ravenwood Swordsmans Gauntletshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798156,from=rss#post1798156https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p1798156,from=rss#post1798156I just order a pair. They do look sharp. Does anyone know how long they are? I left them an email a couple days ago but did not get a response. I'm looking for a length of about 9 inches back from the wrist bone. Do they do custom work? :batman nondisclosed_email@example.com (nevada jay)Fri, 27 Aug 2004 19:37:55 +0000
