Here's Jim Lee's new gauntlet approach. It will come out in his collaboration with Frank Miller, in the All Star: Batman and Robin series, beginning this July. The crustacean-like concept looks like it fits with yours.

BTW...I was thinking...those would look great in black metallic anodized metal, but I'm not sure if that's possible. Any of you metalworking guys know for sure?

Where could I get a pair of gauntlets like that made? And how much would they cost? I'm looking for soemthing like the ones in batman begins, so pretty much like sg1star' gauntlet cept with batman begin style fins.
