Nope, that is how the hand grip is made up for using underwater. Well I have seen that alot of people have viewed it, but so far only 2 people have commented on it. I take it then that it is a good copy of the gloves?

Those look real close. 3mm is kinda thick for gloves. Maybe Henderson makes a thinner version?

Their website http://www.hendersonusa.com/product_instadry.html# shows those type of gloves coming in only 3mm and 5 mm. So the ones I have are the thinest they make and seem to be the closet to the begins glove they make as well.

That swirly pattern is a nice touch for a Begins style outfit, I think, unless you're an accuracy freak... but then you'd have to light up the gloves.:p
