Fiberglass Release Agent
Hey guys, im about to fiberglass in my plaster mold. Do I need a release agent.

A hard wax like bee's wax or a hard car polish wax works well. Vaseline works well but with plaster it may soak into the surface so put a good layer on and leave it for an hour and give it another coat. It depends how pourous the plaster is whether you have used a superfine casting plaster or a standard fine plaster.

you can use johnsons paste wax
it can be thinned down with 99% pure alcohol so tha tyou can put in several thin layers and basically polish the mold.
but if your pull isnt a finished piece, menaing you need to paint it, the paste wax is a pain to remove
