Will Urethane Stick to Silicone?
I just wanted to double check before I cast my cowl tomorrow...also, I used some crystal coat to seal my clay sculpt, and noticed that when I demolded there are some spots that have some of the crystal coat on the silicone, I can peel it off, but I wasn't sure if I just ignored it and used my Urethane it would stick ...
thanks for any help anyone might have :up

Re: Will Urethane stick to Silicone??
I casted one of my TAS Rangs in latex, in a silicone mold.
And it worked good, I just sprayed realase spray on the silicone first,
But im sure it works anyway.
I never used urethane so i cant answer, But if latex works.. Urethane should work also in a silicone mold, I think.
Somone who is 100% Sure will probably answer soon.

Mold release is your friend, trust me! Other things that have worked are petroleum jelly :)

Re: Will Urethane stick to Silicone??
You dont need any release for silicone molds. Just pour that urethane in and when its done pull it out.
Thats the best part about silicone no extras needed.
