Foam/Sponge Mold Material

Is there another mold material out there that is not latex, something that when it hardens, it's more like foam or sponge-like..

And if there is such a product, where can I buy it. Thanks for the help..

Re: Mold Material Help!!!

If you are talking about what you are making your item out of (as opposed to what your mold is made out of) there are bunches of things. First off there's foam latex which I have never used and from what I hear is a real pain to work with, then there are many grades of urethane which are available from Polytek.com and Smoothon.com as well as urethane cold foams (which I don't really like at all) which are also available from Polytek and smoothon . I believe BJB indistries may also have these materials as well as a few spec effects shops like http://www.fxwarehouseinc.com/ and http://www.fxsupply.com/

Hope this helps

That's a start. I was thinking about using it for a muscle suit, under a cloth suit. So it has to be soft and flexible.

Now all I need is a mold.
