Spraying Plasti Dip in the Cold

Has any one had any problems plasti-dipping in the winter with the cold? Not directly outside, but in the garage. If the spray is room temp, will the cold mess up the finish?
Thanks,

Re: Too cold to dip!!!

i've had lots of experience with different types of sprays and paints. the air has to be at a certain temp. in order to get the desired "finish". if you can do it in the basement or someone elses, i recommend that. just set up a couple of fans. (make sure it's not a damp basement or anything)

my 2 cents. :up

I real cold temps I try to limit my "Plasti-Dipping" but I have done it with reasonable success on small pieces (cowls and smaller, wouldn't try to paint armor this time of year) I just keep the piece indoors and warm till I'm ready to spray then bring it in as soon as it's dry enough to handle. Best of luck.

Thanks Bros,
Looks like i'll have to wait until spring. No Biggie. Glad I asked. And glad we have experts here.

Any kind of painting, plasti or otherwise, needs to be done in an area with a temp. of 10c or higher. Anything lower and it may not stick properly and end up flaking off.
