we had a "cheap" vinyl catsuit lying around the shop. it was either uni-sex or made for a man, i wasn't impressed witht the quality. this one had minimal stretch and didn't fit well. some quality suits have 2, even 4 way stretch. problem with pvc is the material is laminated to the spandex, and spandex will stretch more than the pvc, giving runs if over stretched. if you're looking for an investment those aren't your answer. if it's just for halloween,, etc, they would be fine. test the material's stretch before you buy it. i just don't think they allow for much movement. my friend's wife has a couple latex catsuits. she tries them on before purchasing, as fit is not guaranteed by size.

Depending on the quality of your PVC/Spandex, they allow a lot of movement. ONe of my friends has a 4-way stretch PVC catsuit that she uses for everything under the sun and is always getting into dynamic poses. She has had that suit for at least 4 years...

This is our most recent suit... Tracy loves the look, fit and feel of this material.

ZenDragon...sent you a PM

The stitching was glued one? Like they did stitching to spare vinyl, and then glued that onto the suit?

That could be a possibility...

Zendragon...here a reply and a question:

* My gal is doing the "Returns" version, as it's most recognizable to Joe Public....
* your pic is great and that MIGHT work..where did she get the suit?

We already assume she'll need to cut it up and restitch it with WIDE white thread, as in the movie...but we really hate to cut up a $350 fetish catsuit if it isn't needed (hell, a good whip alone is going to be nearly $400 :fright )

Why cut the suit up? Just add the stitching to the suit. If anyone is getting close enough to see that the seams aren't real, give 'em a 'rang upside the noggin!

BatDemon, if that's true, then faking the stitches would make ALOT more sense. Still, I feel like being a stickler for realism here, since my Jants Panther will be a standout and I'd hate for Catwoman to pale against it. All options are still open...

BatDameon, can you give a little more info on how the stitching was glued on? Was it stitched into spare vinyl then glued to the suit? Was it the thread only that was glued to the suit? How exactly was this done?

I also would like the "easy" way out in gluing stitching on, however want to make sure that it doesn't look like crap or have me ruin the suit in the mean time.

Thanks again for the help.
