Re: Different Batman costume style definitions?

In the book that came out in 1995 on Batman Forever, Joel reffered to the suit being sleek and shaped like a Panther, so we nerds started calling it the Panther suit. :)

Many time for movies they put things into fiber glass positives so they can modify pieces for other movies. Like the Clooney suit being slightly modified from the Kilmer Panther suit by adding the second ring on the nipples and the designs on the cod piece. The belt is a Sonar belt, with the new Clooney symbol instead of the old Sonar bat symbol and the new emblem to match the belt. the razor fin was added to the glove, instead of the spikes like on the Kilmer. They also threw on cape clips, changed the cowl and added bats to his boots.

The Ice Suit is a modified Sonar suit, but the cowl is exactly the same, except it was painted in those lame colors to match the lame Ice Suits (can you tell I hated them hehehe). The Robin Ice suit is a modified B&R Robin/Nightwing suit.

Also, the Kilmer emblem in the background was a brass/gold color, not yellow. The OnStar suit is a full Clooney suit, with the Panther cowl the stuntman used in B&R (basically if you pause during the action scenes, you will see that it is a Clooney/Panther hybrid used for the OnStar commercials) and the background on the emblem was painted yellow. The brow and face area of the OnStar cowl is a Panther, with the neck and piece right above the emblem being a Clooney.

Man am I a geek or what hehehe... :geez
