Re: Need help ....Scarecrow
Brin that mask is great!
Whether using burlap or canvas I'd definately suggest aging / weathering the material. I made a scarecrow costume years ago and I ended up looking like Huck Finn in a hood. If I were to do it again I'd not only rip the material around the edges but also sand paper it in places and stain it by throwing on some very watered down earth tones paints in selective areas. You could probably use hot glue or silicone to build up and then paint 3D "mud stains"
My friend did an excelletn weathering job on his straight jacket.

Re: Need help ....Scarecrow
thrift stores are always a good place to start looking for costume pieces. unfortunately the crown on that hat is gonna make it difficult to find. you could make one out of thick felt.

Re: Need help ....Scarecrow
Heres a couple of cool Scarecrow Masks from DEATH STUDIOS.
I ordered a halloween mask from them before, good quick service, mask was awesome for the price!
Could add the hat and stuff after.

Jeff, I always loved that mask....very creepy and fear inspiring!
Drew...that's a kick-a$$ scarecrow!!! I don't think I've ever seen anyone do the full costume before, but very nice man.

Re: Need help ....Scarecrow
My only worry was to keep the mask tight enough as not to look like a smiley face.Thrift stores do wonders. (Funny Fact: When I was picking up the clothes some guy that was looking at something else cut one and didn't even flinch. class)
