I've never driven in a movie style armored suit... I'll get my first experience with that later this year.

I guess it goes without saying that driving in a comic/animated style spandex or cloth suit is a breeze. I drive with everything except cowl, cape & gloves already on.

I've driven with and without the cowl (I'm good at it). If I'm driving with the cowl, it has to be my shorter eared YR1 cowl (or should I say DKR cowl). I'm too old for it to be a YR1. :raiseeybrow
My cowls are always set up to be better at hearing, and seeing out of.
Once I have my car here, you're darned right I'll B driving. :wink

TK0527 what's up bro. I know the feeling, with latex suits they always give you that feeling the it is going to come off, but if you did the gluing of that nice nipples suit ( :wink ) how I told ya, you'll be able to drive no prob. I drove in one just like it before, got out, threw on the cowl and was set.

Re: Driving To Appearances

well, havent done a bats appearance yet, but as spiderman, i drive with my suit one, hood down, with a sweat shirt and sweat pants on over it. my spidey boots are sticking out the bottom, but they look like some nikes now adays =). some kids look at my shoes and look at me and wink they are keeping my secret =).

although, i have driven my motorcycle on international drive for megacon in my full spidey suit, vision is great, and no problems moving my head, i almost caused a few accidents from people watching me and not watching the road and other people trying to take my picture, lol. so.. i stopped.

Re: Driving To Appearances

I have a handler who goes with me and drives. My girlfriend made up a laminated card that presents her as "Batman's Press Rep For Central North Carolina." That way if kids have the usual quesions about, "Where's the Batmobile?" I have a logical answer. I don't drive in the suit, or really ride in the suit. Her car is too small and I am too tall to get away with it. I have ridden in part of the suit between gigs. Last Halloween was an example. My usual visit to my small-town Halloween festival, and then across the county to a neighborhood party in Charlotte.

From what I am to understand its not a good idea to drive with a Batman cowl. I have driven once with with my Batgirl Cowl. But..the Batgirl cowl is not as immobile as the Batman (I believe)
Like Janty, I have driven with my mask on. Obviously that is a big difference as far as mobility.

It is funny how people take double takes when you are driving in costume :lol

So you want to turn your head...

It would make backing out the driveway easier...
