Where To Find FX Eyes

Looking for a good source for human style glass eyes to add into your sculpture or displays

I would ask someone knows this pretty well but he takes forever to answer his emails so I figure why not ask the cave~

so its up for discussion to anyone who knows and has used them

found these here but they are alittle pricey and wondering if there is better out there

Glass eyes

Hastings carries some. Remember, for quality ones, you are looking at some $$:

FX warehouse used to be near Orlando until they recently moved. Paul gets all of his stuff there and I get odds and ends there. If I needed eyes that is where I would go.

I remember seeing a guy on Ebay that was selling a variety of them.

Will these Monster Makers eyes work for you?

those acrylic would work great but they want more to ship them then they cost

plus they screwed up on my last order, and their alginate SUCKS!!!!

now why didnt they come up in the search

for the really good ones yeah I know you pay about 100.00 per...but for sculpting over I just need solid and sturdy

I'll look when I am at burmans next week...hopefully they will have something good

someplace in my huge mess. my shop looks like a packrat's nest at the moment. I think those $7 guys are the same ones monster makers is selling, but haven't been to MM in a while so I can't say for sure. They're not great eyes, but if you're just sculpting they work. You could always mold one and cast your own eyes, as many as you could ever need. That's why I grabbed a set. :)

saw them...wondered about size though

but if you have had good experiance with the
human eyes then I might give them a chance

at this point I am just thinking of not worring about it and going with 1.014 size orbs which are the same as these 26mm eyes only without an iris....

you dont need an iris to sculpt,...but it sure helps you in realizism
