Re: batmobile question

I don't know first hand, but I was told by a friend who spent a lot of time inside and out of one of the Returns cars that is was not actually functional. It had to be moved by hand. Here is exactly what he said,
"The wipers in the Returns car where not functional. They didn't look too bad. They were put on a small track system and could actually be moved from side to side by hand. Somehow a drive system would have to be built."

Good luck to you! How long is it going to take you to finish? I hope it comes out as well as you plan. By the way that's a cool website.

I had read that the wipers on the onstar car were functional and that they use the front head light wipers used on Volvos.

thunder cracker,
thanks,
at this point im not sure how long it will take me to finsh. i made some times frames in the past but onething or another poped up. right now im having trouble with the back, but i hope i got it all worked out last night, once i get that part done the rest should fall in place a little faster, if so i might have the 1/4th done in oct and have the full scale started in nov, from there im giving my self at the most 2 years to complete her and read to go on the road.

Re: batmobile question

thanks, i wait for the day when the full scale is done and on the road, it will have external speakers that i can switch on and off, i just want to drive around town for awhile with the batman theme song blasting on the external speakers, ill have a friend walking around town to catch peoples reaction. ill have have mike's and cammras hiddion on the outside of the batmobile to catch peoples reactions when its just sitting somewhere parked. but the one of the first thing me and a firend wants to do when shes done and dress up as batman and nightwing and go to the mcdonalds drive though and order 2 kids happymeals. then when i park it someplace and theres people around it just walk up and act like im one of them admireing it, grab my key chain without people seeing me press the buttin to start the engine and say "well i gotta go" then press the other buttion to open the canopy
