the law is inadequate. in order to shame it's inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law. to pursue natural justice. this is not vengeance. revenge is not a valid motive, it's an emotional response. no, not vengeance, PUNISHMENT

I think the one in the films was constructed in the batshop. Probably the most pics you'll find are either of the Japanese one (which I think there was only one of), or the SDS one (which wasnt exactly accurate, but seem to be the majority of the pics [and recasts] on the net). I know this probably doesnt help, but for pics I suggest the official movie books of '89 and Returns... Or the one poster of Keaton holding the speargun.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the Batshop did them. I think all the gadgets and props, including the Batmobile, were made in England by a guy named John Evans and his team.
I think the Batshop opened for Returns and the other two ficks when they moved production to Hollywood....I think. :)

The only help I can offer is the same as James. I have a resin copy and I can take pics.

Yeah, the Batshop didn't start until after the huuuuge success of the first flick. John Evans is resonsible for the spear gun, folding rang and other gadgets. Man, if only I had his know-how.
