Hey Bob, was looking for the 3D rendering of the Batmobile to see if it was the same 3D model of the car that I've got, but I can't seem to find it on the page....what section is it under?

Mikey...yep, the 89 WAS in the movie (Daffy tries to steel it) as well as a BLACK sonar suited Bat.
It's kind of funny...as the car starts/fires up, notice that they used the sound FX from the old 60's car.
Now stop being an ass, have fun and go rent yourself a cartoon!!:tongue

Striderx, This shop that you gave us the link for is about an hours drive from me down in south Jersey shore area. I do believe that batmobile was built for 6 Flags Great Adventure's Batman show. I already contacted them,,,,,They don't want to know anything about building one for the general public!

That last post was very interesting...electric Batmobiles! I remember watching the making of the Italian Job, and they had to convert several of the Mini Coopers into electric power for filming in the subways. Just imagine how quiet and stealthy an electric Batmobile would be....
and fyi - the POR-15 rust preventer they mention in their article on restoring the Batmobile is some pretty neat stuff - I used it in restoring the floorboards of a t-top Trans Am and it worked great (but it's not cheap).
