I like the look of the tumbler - but we have to wait and see it move.

Re: Batmobile Poll

For a sleek, maneuvarable, steathly, low profile ride the Gotham Knights / JL version makes the most sense. It isn't weighed down by Bat embellishments and stands out on a street corner or in an alley a lot less than most other Batmobiles.

I still have hopes for the Begins "tumbler" though. The batmobile should fit the story. Imagine if Batman cruised into the big mud pit battle in Dark Knight Returns driving the 60's Futura. The Batmobile should match the portrayal of the Bat and the Begins ride may be just the thing for the film.

They'll be Kevlar/Armour lined! Like Bats body suit! :wink

Troillus,

Good point, just the kinda vehicle he'd need to lay down some bone snappin' on the mutants like in D.K.R!

Hee hee. "Get her." That was your whole plan. I like it; it was scientific.

Good point. Those can't be regular tires. But why mud in the city?

Given the choices available I say 89/returns car #1, 66 Car #2 but in reality my favorite is the comic version based on a Posche.

I know I'm part of the minority, but I like it :up

The '66 will always be my favorite, followed by the '89,but this car is cool in my book.

The '66 car and the three movie cars were very big and long,as well as the animated cars,so I don't think there's really been many "practical" city Batmobiles anyway. Besides,it's a fantasy. Batman and his gadgets are supossed to be larger than life.

I see lots of HumVees and 4x4's blazing through the streets of Philadelphia and Philly streets are very small and narrow....really narrow in fact,so I don't think that matters.

I think it's because everyone's used to smooth contours on a Batmobile and this is much more jagged....my 2 cents :nahnah

89 Batmobile all the way. I keep dreaming Chevrolet will make a limited edition and I'm able to buy one.

Hated the Joel Shoe-maker version, what was up with all the neon??

But I'm still hoping the new Batmobile will grow on me.

I grew up with the 66, but after seeing the 89 it was all over for me. I love the 89 it is in my opinion the most realistic of all the cars. I even liked his 89 jet better than my F16 even though mine could hit Mach 2.0.

The '66 is by far the best looking Batmobile ever. The '89 is 2nd. The rest just suck. :alert
